Wikipedia - Geelong Supercats

Geelong United Supercats is a NBL1 South club based in Geelong, Victoria. Known as the Geelong Supercats for the overwhelming majority for its existence, the club fields teams in both the Men's and Women's NBL1 South. Previously managed by Basketball Geelong, the club is affiliated with Geelong United Basketball and plays its home games at the Geelong Arena.

Geelong Supercats on Austraalia korvpallimeeskond, mis mängib Austraalia korvpalliliidus (NBL). Meeskond asub Geelongis Victoria osariigis ja mängib oma kodumängud Geelong Arena's.

Supercats asutati 1982. aastal ja on NBL-is mänginud alates 1983. aastast. Meeskond on võitnud kaks NBL-i meistritiitlit, 1992. ja 1993. aastal. Supercats on kuulus ka oma tugeva koduväljaku eest, millele on antud hüüdnimi "The Fortress".
