Klubi on võitnud Šotimaa karikavõistlused üks kord, aastal 1933. Nad on jõudnud finaali veel kolmel korral, aastatel 1920, 1928 ja 2008. Queen of the South on ka ainus Šotimaa klubi, mis on mänginud UEFA karikavõistluste veerandfinaalis, mille nad saavutasid hooajal 1980–81.

Klubi hüüdnimi on "The Doonhamers", mis tuleneb nende kodulinna lähedal asuvast Nith jõest. Queen of the Southi traditsioonilised värvid on must ja valge.

Klubi peatreener on Allan Johnston. Tema abitreener on Kelham O'Hanlon ja väravavahtide treener on Jim Thomson. Queen of the Southi kapten on Josh Todd.
