Nicaragua Apertura

The Liga Primera de Nicaragua is the top division of football in Nicaragua, organized by the Federación Nicaragüense de Fútbol. It was created in 1933.

The league is played in two parts, the Torneo de Apertura from August through November and Torneo de Clausura from January through May. Each of the regular seasons is followed by a playoff of the top four teams over a two-legged semifinal and subsequent final. The relegation end has the bottom team of the aggregate table dropped as well as the loser of the playoff of the 8th and 9th-place teams.

**Nicaragua Apertura** on Nicaragua kõrgeima astme jalgpalliliiga Apertura hooaeg. See on üks kahest Nicaragua riiklikust jalgpalliliigast, teine on Nicaragua Clausura. Apertura hooaeg toimub tavaliselt augustist detsembrini.

**Formaat**

Apertura hooajal osaleb 10 meeskonda, kes mängivad kahekordse ringmänguna. Iga meeskond mängib kokku 18 mängu. Hooaja lõpus pääsevad esikolmikusse meeskonnad edasi finaalturniirile, kus selgitatakse Apertura meister.

**Ajalugu**

Nicaragua Apertura loodi 1994. aastal ja on alates sellest ajast peetud igal aastal. Kõige edukam meeskond Apertura hooajal on Diriangén FC, kes on tulnud meistriks 13 korda.
